Three-way Catalytic Converter

Our company has successfully developed many types of three-way Catalytic Converter, which are suitable for cars in all types and meet the emission standard. As customers' requests, all kind of three-way Catalytic Converter can be explored and produced.
The three-way Catalytic Converter can eliminate 90% amount of the three main pollutants (hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide). A complete catalyzing reaction depends on the preserving degree of the mixed fuel on the small side of A/F (rate of air and fuel). And only the normal system of oxide sensor exert its function, this A/F can be realized.

three-way Catalytic Converter resembles muffler. Its outside in the shape of canister is made of stain steel plate. Between the double sheet of interlayer, there is the heat-resistant material (asbestos fibre felt). And inside in the center of reticulate clapboard, the purificant is equipped.
Purificant
The purificant is composed of carrier and catalyzer. The carrier is made of AI2O3 in the shapes of sphericity, multi-prism, reticulate clapboard ect. Purificant, in fact has the function of catalysing, so it is also called catalyzer. Platinum, rhodium and palladium can be used as catalyzer, and use one of them sprayed and covered onto the carrier, then the purificant forms.
Working theory
When the exhaust is passing through the exhaust pipe, CO ¡¢ HC ¡¢ and NOx ---the three types of gas are passing through the clarifier of the reactor in the three-way Catalytic Converter , the activity of the gas would be enhanced, they would be under an oxidation and deoxidization reaction. Under such a high temperature, the CO would be oxidated into a gas without color and poison--CO2; the HC compound would be turned into H2O and CO2; and the NOx would be deoxidated into Nitrogen.
